Round the Island Race

This is a very special and indeed unique UK event with over 1,500 yachts competing (that's more than 10,000 sailors), the annual Round the Island race is the yachting worlds equivalent of the London Marathon.

Circumnavigating the Isle of Wight with such a huge fleet is in itself a breath taking spectacular and a sailing life 'Must Do'

Our approach to this event is that of a 'Fun Race' where participation is everything and we equally welcome novice and experienced sailors alike. Don't worry there will be plenty for you to do and as our company ethos is that people go sailing because it's fun, we hand pick our skippers based on their experience and calm approach every one being an excellent tutor in both the techniques and enjoyment of sailing.
